Who are The New York City Sea Gypsies?

Founded by local scuba divers and instructors in 1971, we are a not-for-profit club made up of individuals of diverse ages and from all walks of life with one thing in common: we all share a love of scuba diving.

The Sea Gypsies dive actively all year round.

Our diving schedule which contains both local diving opportunities and dive trips can be found here. Members also have access to special club diving events
